Janice Marie Pinczuk of Niles passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 2:50 a.m. in the emergency room of Mercy Health St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital. She was 70.
Janice was born on May 8, 1948 in Warren, the daughter of the late Paul and Ellen Rogers Flanigan.
She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Mrs. Pinczuk was a nurses aide for many years at Shepherd of the Valley and the former Glenview Manor Nursing Home. Later in life, Janice was employed at Joseph and Feiss Co. a clothing manufacturer in Cleveland.
Mrs. Pinczuk was an avid Days of Our Lives fan, Janice has watched the show from the start and never missed an episode. She loved holiday family gatherings where she would prepare a meal to feed and army and decorate her house and yard for everyone to see. Janice was a social butterfly on Facebook or chatting on the phone with her cousins, Carol and Joyce. Most of all she was an amazing woman with a beautiful soul, who touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Janice is survived by her husband, Edward Pinczuk; 4 daughters, Beth Fair of Niles, Kathy (Tommy) Torreance of Niles, Michele (Allen) Coudriet of Niles, with whom she made her home, and Stacy (Quinten) Melius of Niles; a sister, Beverly (Jim) Jackson of Niles; 2 brothers, Terry (Elsie) Flanigan and John Flanigan of Niles; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy & Camerin Harkins, Ryssa Coudriet, Samantha (Matt), Jenna, and Kennedy Melius, Stephen (Camelia) & Kyle Ebert, Tommy, Johnny, and Nathan Fair; 4 great grandchildren, Alex & Wyatt Ebert, Layla Fair and Hope Holte.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Pete and Bob Flanigan; 3 sisters, Nancy Dodrill, Paulette Pyatt and Randy Court; a son in law Tom Fair.
Janice believed upon passing you returned to the stars and you would pray to your lost loved ones. Now we will be praying to her star.
