John Edward Salmon of Warren passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 2:22 p.m. in his residence. He was 82.
John was born in Washington, PA on February 15, 1936, the son of the late Edward and Helen Cutlip Salmon.
Mr. Salmon was a hard worker his entire life. Following high school graduation, he worked numerous jobs throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. He owned and operated a gas station in Pennsylvania for many years. He retired from Republic Steel as a foreman.
John proudly served our country in the United State Army.
He had a passion for music and spending time appreciating nature. John cherished his family and enjoyed their time spent together.
Mr. Salmon is survived by a daughter, Sherrie (Danny) Corley of Warren; a son, Vincent Salmon of Niles; a sister, Nancy Abbott of Midway, PA; a brother, Edward Salmon of Midway, PA; 4 grandchildren, Cody, Joshua, Jason, and Zachary. He is also survived by his ex-wife Patricia Johnson of Niles.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter Tracy Monteneri; 3 sons, Michael, Johnny, and Danny; a brother, Bob Salmon.
