Lawrence Lee “Larry” Cox of Warren, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 in his residence. He was 44.
Mr. Cox was born in Warren on December 15, 1972, the son of Lawrence Lee and Colleen Crowley Cox.
Larry attended Warren G. Harding High School. Following school, Larry built a reputation for himself as an accomplished residential and commercial painter. He was employed for Warren Paint for many years.
He was of Catholic faith. Mr. Cox loved the outdoors, including camping and fishing. He was an avid Ohio State and NASCAR Fan. During periods in his life, Larry had formed a bond with a Pitbull named Ciroc that brought him joy and comfort when he needed it most. He cherished the time he spent with family and friends. His children were his pride and joy, there was never a moment that Larry didn’t take the opportunity to tell someone about his children’s successes.
Mr. Cox is survived by a son Lawrence L. “LJ” Cox Jr. of Niles; a daughter, Taylor Elizabeth Cox of Niles; his mother, Colleen Cox of Warren; a brother, Jason Cox of Warren; his maternal grandmother, Lucy Crowley of Warren; Larry is also survived by Aubree, a little girl who touched his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents; maternal grandfather.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
