Albert Harold Fortune, Jr.

Albert Harold Fortune Jr. of Niles passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:44 p.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. He was 73.

Mr. Fortune was born on May 13, 1946 in Warren, the son of the late Albert H. Sr. and Elizabeth Koncsol Fortune.

He attended Niles City School System. Albert worked for Brainard Rivet Company in Girard and then Phillips Manufacturing in Niles where he retired from as a machine operator.

Mr. Fortune was an avid Ohio sports team supporter, always cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns.

He is survived by a daughter Tina (Michael LaPolla) of Niles; a son Albert H. Fortune III of Niles, with whom he made his home; 2 sisters Kathy (Frank) Sudol of McDonald and Betty Petrilla of Niles; 2 brothers David (Debra) Fortune and Patrick (Tami) Fortune both of McDonald; 3 grandchildren, Chasidy, Christopher, and Samantha; 3 great grandchildren, William, Addison, and Gage.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by a brother Terry Fortune; a great grandchild William.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019 in the funeral home with Rev. Aaron Newell.
