Amy L. McRoberts York

Amy L. McRoberts York of Warren passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 4:42 a.m. in Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge. She was 58.

Amy was born in Warren on February 12, 1962, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Crawford McRoberts.

She was a 1980 graduate of Matthew High School. She furthered her education at Kent State University receiving her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy.

She was a member of Believers Christian Church.

Amy enjoyed painting, working on various types of craft projects, and stopping at garage sales. She took pride in her gardening especially when it came to her strawberries. She also loved animals. Her world revolved around her family and the many children whose lives she touched throughout the years. She loved them all dearly, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Eric (Alicia) York and Brandon (Gina) York both of Warren; 2 brothers, William McRoberts of Vienna and Alan McRoberts of Warren; a sister, Claudette Solida; and 2 grandchildren, Mac and Jhamir.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Warren Revival Church 4400 W. Market St., Leavittsburg, OH 44430.

A memorial service will follow with Rev. Dave Holbrook at 3:00 p.m. at the church.

In accordance with the policies of the church, masks and social distancing will be required. If forgotten, a mask will be provided at the door.
