Barbara Jo (Lake) Whiteman

Barbara Jo Whiteman of Girard passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 4:55 p.m. in her residence. She was 68.

Barbara was born in Grafton, WV on April 29, 1950, the daughter of the late Clyde and Emma Jean Henderson Lake.

She was a graduate of South East High School. Mrs. Whiteman was a loving homemaker, wife and mother.

Barbara had a special place in her heart for animals, she loved raising and caring for her dogs.

Her husband, John Huzvar, whom she married on September 28, 1968, passed away in March of 1999.

She is survived by a daughter, Jenney Pittman of Salem; a son, John Huzvar of Girard; a sister Judy Miles; 2 brothers, Donald (Ellen) Lohr of Girard and George Lohr of Ellwood, PA; 6 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lake; a brother Jack Lohr; 1 great grandchild.
