Bess V. Scott

Bess V. Scott, 86, of Leavittsburg, died 9:15 AM Monday, August 23, 2004 at the home of her grandaughter Robin Bufwack. She was born Saturday, June 1, 1918, in Roulette, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Vern and Mary (Coe) Tippin.

Mrs. Scott had worked as a keypunch operator for the White Motor Corporation. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and their families.

Surviving Mrs. Scott are two sons: John Fankhauser of San Diego, California and William Fankhauser of Munson, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Scott in death are her parents; her husband, Gerald P. Scott, who died April 25, 1989; and a sister, June Tavenier.

Private services will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
