Brenda Lee Tenney

Brenda Lee Tenney of Mineral Ridge passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:53 a.m. in the emergency room of Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was 61 years old.

Brenda was born on February 5, 1960 in Warren, the daughter of David “Buzz” Lowe and Wanda Whittaker Lowe.

She was a 1978 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. Following high school, Brenda furthered her education in Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Tenney owned and operated a child daycare center for over 30 years. She cherished every child that she ever cared for.

Brenda loved playing bingo at various locations throughout the area. She cherished her family and loved creating memories with them during their trips to West Virginia. Most importantly, Brenda’s grandchildren were the center of her world.

She is survived by her husband, Donal Tenney whom she married July 2, 1983; a son, Jason (Danielle) Tenney of Lordstown; 3 brothers, Randy (Pam), David, and Thomas Lowe; 2 grandchildren, Leena Pickett and Gianna Lynn Tenney; her mother, Wanda Lowe.

In addition to her father, David “Buzz” Lowe, Brenda is preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda D. Tenney; a grandson, Marcus Pickett.
