Bryan M. Ayala of Niles passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Perkins Park. He was 17.
Bryan was born in Murfreesboro, TN on August 1, 2001. He moved to Niles with his guardian and close friend, Dylon McElhaney. Bryan was a senior at Niles McKinley High. He made very close friendships during his time in high school. Bryan was a very talented and gifted sketch artist and specifically enjoyed drawing anime characters. His after-school activities include playing video games, especially any game involving Pokémon. He enjoyed working out to stay in shape for his true passion, boxing. Bryan had many dreams and aspirations following high school, he was going to take his first year off to make decisions regarding joining the military, furthering his education, or pursuing a future in boxing. He will be greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his guardian Dylon McElhaney of Warren; and a sister.

At the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year a lilac bush and plaque will be planted in memory of Bryan. Donations can be made at that time in Bryan’s memory.
A vigil will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services. 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. Guest speakers and counselors will be available for friends and classmates of Bryan.
