Constance Naomi Welch

Constance Naomi Welch a lifelong resident of Warren went to be with Jesus her Savior on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. in the emergency room of Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was 81.

Connie was born in Akron on March 6, 1939, the daughter of the late Harley C. Sr. and Margaret C. Craw Welch.

She was a 1956 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Ms. Welch retired in 1988 after 30 years of employment with Packard Electric.

Connie loved attending and worshiping in church. She was a student of the Bible her entire life. Early in life she was a member of Warren First Assembly of God and more recently attended North-Mar Church. She was a talented seamstress and loved crafting. She had a quick wit and a sunny disposition, rarely letting life’s troubles get her down. Connie often stated, “I like to have fun!” and she did wherever she went. She adored her cats and was never without one in her home. She was grateful for life and lived it to the fullest.

Ms. Welch is survived by 2 nieces, Lynn Tomko Newmiller of Warren and Virginia (Wayne) Mace of Las Cruces, NM; a nephew Michael (Debbie) Tomko of Howland.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by, 4 brothers, Harley C. Jr., Herman, Ross, and Marshall Welch. 3 sisters, Marian Barber, Rebecca Shiflett, and Janice Tomko; Connie was also preceded in death by a beloved niece Kim Leslie Tomko.
