Cynthia R Lewis

Cynthia R. “Cindy” Lewis, of Niles, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cindy was born on August 10, 1956, a daughter of the late Stanley and Shirley (Gifford) Koniowsky. She married her husband, the late Reece D. “Pete” Lewis and together they raised three children.

Ms. Lewis was employed by Shepherd of the Valley as a nurse’s aid. In her free time Cindy enjoyed shopping and going to the casino, but her true love was spending time with her five grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Rick (Rachelle) Lewis and Susan Ferry; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her sisters Jackie and Ginny Hanshaw and brothers Ricky and Stevie Koniowsky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pete, daughter Stacey Lewis, and brother Peter Koniowsky.

In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery.
