Doris Wooster

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, Doris Wooster, 79, of Warren, died 10:52 AM Sunday, April 11, 2004 at Mahoning Valley Hospital in Warren.

She was born February 15, 1925 in East Troy, Pa., the daughter of the late George and Alice Louise (Hanscom) Rathbun.

Mrs. Wooster had worked as an inspector for Packard Electric and was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Wooster are her husband, Carroll D. Wooster, whom she married June 23, 1946; her stepmother, Ruth Rathbun of Troy, Pa.; three daughters: Nancy (Pete) Varley and Carol Ann (Dennis) MacFarland of Cuyahoga Falls, and Beverly (Earl) MacFarland of Warren; two sisters: Josephine Wright and Ruth (Gayle) Shumaker; two brothers: Harold (Joanne) Rathbun and Robert (Kay) Rathbun; six grandchildren: Lori Dailey, Amy Cooper, Brian MacFarland, Carrie Morgan, Kevin MacFarland, and Richard MacFarland; and three great-grandchildren: Carissa MacFarland, Kyle MacFarland, and Lily Dailey.

Preceding Mrs. Wooster in death are her parents.

Services for Mrs. Wooster will be 2:30 PM Friday, April 16, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Anita Rayburn officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday and 1:30 to 2:30 PM Friday. Inurnment will take place at Pineview Cemetery.
