Palm Coast, Florida - Dorothy Kelsey Dennison, 86, a two year resident of Alterra Sterling House, 3 Club House Dr. Palm Coast, Florida, died late Saturday evening after a long bout with Alzheimer's disease.

Mrs. Dennison moved to Palm Coast from Warren, Ohio two years ago, shortly after her husband of 28 years, former U.S. Congressman David S. Dennison, passed away in 2001. Jeane Dickson Houlette, her first husband of 26 years, died in 1965.

Mrs. Dennison was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania and lived in various towns in Pennsylvania as well as Washington, D.C. and Pebble Beach, California.

She was a devoted wife to her two husbands and a loving mother to her two sons, Tom Houlette of Pacific Grove, California and Joe Houlette of Palm Coast. She was one of two children of Arthur Kelsey and Alice Tomlinson (Kelsey). Her sister, Virginia Martin of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, preceded her in death in 1993.

In addition to her two sons, she is survived by six grandchildren: Byian, Todd, David, Lea and Taylor Houlette and Cordy Dennison-Budak of Hubbard, Ohio. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 10:00 AM, December 10, 2003.

McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the following: Florida Hospital Hospice Care, 770 W. Granada Blvd. #319, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174; the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 321, Canfield, Ohio 44406; or any other local Alzheimer's Association.
