David A. McClintock passed away on June 24, 2018 at the age of 76 at the Windsor House at Champion in Warren, Ohio. He was born in Ravenna, Ohio on 3/28/1942 to the late Ralph McClintock and Dorotha Reynolds. He graduated from Warren Harding High School and went on to graduate with a PhD in History from Case Western Reserve University.
He enjoyed reading and collecting books and movies so much so that he started his business in what he loved to do. David became a longstanding book store owner in Warren, Ohio dealing in new, used, antique and rare books and movies; buying, selling and trading many diverse subjects and titles catering to his loyal customers.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Ray (Nancy) McClintock of Warren; niece: Melanie McClintock of Brooklyn, NY; nephew: Mark (Paula) McClintock of Salem; great-niece: Salma McClintock-Azayi of Brooklyn, NY; great step-nephew: Noah Marsh of Salem.
No funeral will be held at this time. Family will have a Committal Service for David’s ashes at the Christ Episcopal Church of Warren on July 14 at 11:00 AM. Any donations in memory of David should be sent to Christ Episcopal Church at 2627 Atlantic Ave., NE., Warren, Ohio 44483.
