Elizabeth "Betty" Rose Hurton

Warren, OH - “Betty” Elizabeth Rose Hurton passed away quietly on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Community Skilled Health Care Center after a brief illness. Betty was born on December 27, 1942 in Sharon, PA. Betty was the daughter of the late Margurite Louis Rose and Charles Hurton, Sr. Betty was a graduate of Warren G. Harding School. She was employed at A.L. Mathis Co. and later was a homemaker. She enjoyed sea shell crafts, tending to her  flowers, reading, spending time with her family and friends and the constant companionship of her dog.

Memories of Betty will be carried on by her sister Margurite Burwell of Warren, brother, Joseph Hurton of Cortland, and brother, Charles J. Hurton, of Michigan. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews as well.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Hurton, Sr., mother Margurite Louis Hurton-Ferguson, and husband James E. Mackey.
