Frances Upole

Frances M. Upole of East Palestine passed away on July 9, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in her residence. She was 86.

Frances was born in Olmsted Falls, OH on April 4, 1932, the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Cassidy Doyle.

Earlier in life following her high school graduation, Frances had a passion for ice skating, she was employed with Holiday on Ice as a skater and traveled around the country. Frances retired after 29 years of employment with Trans World Airlines (TWA). She began her career with TWA as a Teletype Operator and then transferred to the loading department, where she would load the planes with luggage at the terminal.

She was of Catholic faith. Her passions included ice skating and tennis. She held her private pilot’s licenses and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her husband Delmar Upole, whom she married October 24, 1964.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents.

At Frances’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
