Gary Patrick Wagner

Gary Patrick Wagner of Niles passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in Shepherd of the Valley Girard. He was 76.

Mr. Wagner was born in Youngstown on May 19, 1947, the son of the late Paul and Anna Madden Wagner.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Gary proudly served our country in the United States Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam.

Gary retired after 30 years as a craneman for the former RMI Steel Inc.

He was a member of St. Stephen Church.

Mr. Wagner is survived by his brother George Wagner of Niles.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Paul, Lester, and Tom Wagner; 5 sisters, Patty, Gerry, Marlene, Kathy, and Christine; and his 2 nephews who were his world, Mark, and Duke Wagner.
