Glen R. Cromley passed away on June 29, 2018 at the age of 73 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born in Warren, Ohio on December 8, 1944 to the late Charles and Mary McCleary Cromley. Glen graduated from Warren Harding High School and he served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War. He started his work life at GM and retired after 30 years of service he continued in his lifelong passion, that was the ministering to the people of the Believers Church in Warren and being a part of the church’s prison ministry. Glen was known to have a positive and faithful message and the gift of helps. He helped those that needed it most every day.
He was an avid hunter of deer, turkey and other small game in Ohio. His professional sports team was the Cleveland Browns and he made it a point to watch the game on Sunday afternoon. He was a ”die-hard” Browns Fan.
Glen surviving family and friends include his seven children: Robert (Kathy) Cromley of Warren; Russell Cromley of Odessa, FL; Jesse Cromley of Warren; John (Terrie) Cromley of Punxsutawney, PA ; Lori Cromley of Shelocta, PA; Tina (Lou) Bahr of Fort Knox, KY; and Bob Groom, 5 Grandchildren; Chandler Bahr; Krista (John) Samwel of Warren; Joshua Cromley; Mackenzie Cromley; and Kailinn Cromley and 3 great grandchildren. Other family members include a sister, Zoe Taylor of Winter Garden, FL, and a brother John Cromley of Warren. Glen is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Cromley, and brother Charles Cromley.
Calling hours will be held July 8, 2018 at the Believers Church in Warren starting at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by the memorial service. Any donations in memory of Glen should be sent to the Believers Church Prison Ministry at 2577 Schenley Ave., NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
