Hazel Bright

Hazel J. Bright of McDonald was called home to be with the lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 5:05 a.m. in the Hospice House. She was 81.

Hazel was born in Olive Hill, KY on March 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Clifton and Mary Crockett Tackett.

She attended Olive Hill school system. Hazel was a loving homemaker. Mrs. Bright was affiliated with the Warren Revival Center. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing, bowling, bingo, sewing, and in general she cherished life itself.

Mrs. Bright will be sadly missed by her six children, Debra Ward, Joyce (Tom) Novotny, Brenda (Randy) Caldwell, Carl Bright Jr., Kathy Chuirazzi, and Mark (Kristen) Bright; 2 sisters, June (David) Harrison and Virgie Doing; a brother, Clifton (Sherry) Tackett Jr; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bright; 2 sons, Franklyn and Bill Bright; a brother Raymond Tackett.

At Hazel’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
