James A. Horner of Cortland passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 10:33 p.m. in his residence. He was 50 years old.
James was born August 7, 1970 in Warren, the son of the late Alden and Dorothy Fike Horner.
He was a graduate of Maplewood High School. Mr. Horner worked in manufacturing most of his life.
James was of Catholic faith. He enjoyed playing video games, relaxing in front of the television watching a good comedy show. Earlier in life he would go to the gym and lift weights. Most importantly he loved family traditions, whether it was going to deer park, feeding the fish at the spillway, or spending time at Conneaut Lake Park, he cherished those moments with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Horner of Girard; a son Aidan Horner of Burghill; 3 sisters, Debbie Ellis, Linda Hernandez, and Terri Bartholomew; numerous nieces and nephews. James is also survived by his dog, Baxter who kept him company these past years.
James is preceded in death by his parents.
