James Joseph Mann Sr.

James Joseph Mann Sr. of Warren passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 2:54 p.m. in his residence. He was 63.

James was born on March 22, 1956 in Warren, the son of the late Raymond Thomas. Sr. and Susan Marie Potts Mann.

He attended Warren G. Harding High School. Mr. Mann was employed as a weatherization inspector for Cleveland Housing Network and ABCD Inc.

Mr. Mann was the pastor of the Perkinswood Chapel in Warren. James loved to cook, and found enjoyment listening to his favorite Elvis Presley songs. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. Most importantly he was a generous man with a good heart, and he had a passion for helping those in need.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashley (Erik) Jarosi; 2 sons, James Mann Jr. and Tyler Mann; a stepdaughter, Kaylee MacDonald; 2 sisters, Susan Jantz and Cynthia Mann; a brother Tom Mann; a grandchild, Charlie; and a close friend Tabitha Lee Mann.

James was preceded in death by his parents.
