Jane R. Polena

Jane R. Polena, 90, of Warren, died 5:25 AM Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born November 5, 1913, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Marie Bradley Reed. She had been a homemaker; a charter member of the Junior Crafts; a Red Cross volunteer; a member, past-president, and former gift shop treasurer of the Women's Auxiliary of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Warren, and had served on the Vestry. She enjoyed needlepoint, golf, bowling, and reading.

Surviving Mrs. Polena is her husband, Louis L. Polena, whom she married 66 years ago on April 23, 1938.

Preceding Mrs. Polena in death are her parents; her daughter, Katherine R. Polena; and a sister, Patricia R. Kreiger.

A memorial service for Mrs. Polena will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with the Rev. Fr. Robert M. Lindberg officiating. There are no calling hours. Inurnment will take place at the Christ Episcopal Church columbarium. Material contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church.
