Katherine (Luich) Spoljaric

Katherine Spoljaric of Cortland passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:05 p.m. in the Cortland Healthcare Center. She was 88.

Katherine was born in Allegheny, PA on February 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Stavleinch Luich.

She was a graduate of St. Stephens School System and a life long member of St. Stephens Church in Niles. Ms. Spoljaric was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, working on puzzles, and had a talent with ceramics and created beautiful pieces of art over the years.

Ms. Spoljaric is survived by a son Tony Spoljaric of McDonald; a daughter Tina of Florida; a sister Teresa Jozwiak of Howland; a brother Michael Luich of Howland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Joseph, Robert, Anthony, and William Luich; 3 sisters Mary Ann Luich, Barbara Ann Luich and Magdalyn Guinta.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.

Inurnment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
