Laura Neoma Price

Laura Neoma Price, aged 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Liberty Township, Ohio on Saturday, December 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Laura was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Laura Neoma Cox was born and raised in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, daughter of the late Noah Patterson Cox and Thelma Inez Cox. Laura was a beloved sister to her late siblings, Noah (Jay) Jr Cox, Betty Lou White and Stella Parker. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ernest H. Price of Liberty, who stood by her side throughout their many years together. And two sister-in-laws, Mary Ann (Tom) Smith of Mineral Ridge, OH and Alice (Red) Bendon of Niles, OH

Laura was the proud mother of two sons, William Robinson, married to Danielle, of Howland and Dylan Alexander Price of Liberty. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, William Marcus Robinson of Howland and Emily Alexandra Robinson of Cortland, and their mother Lynn Robinson, who was like a daughter to her and they brought immense joy to her life. She went to almost all of their various sports activities over the years to cheer them on. And she got great pleasure picking them up from school and taking them for pizza with their friends.

She is also survived by her brother, Paul (Betty Jean) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Laura worked for 30 years at Packard Electric where she met Ernie. Laura was an avid bowler, participating in many local leagues with her husband and friends. Her life was marked by her dedication to her family and her unwavering spirit. Her home was a gathering place filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her generosity and her ability to bring people together.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Laura's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private family service will be held to honor Laura's life at Wm Nicholas & Sons Funeral Home in Niles, Ohio. A burial will be determined at a later date in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the Kidd Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County in Vienna, OH or to N.O.A.S, the Northern Ohio Adoption & Foster Care Services in Warren, OH.
