Marie Young

Marie Young of Sharpsville passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 6:45 a.m. in her residence. She was 72 years old.

Marie was born on May 5, 1948 in Jamestown, PA, the daughter of the late Savel and Edith Miller Aicher.

Earlier in life, Marie was employed at National Casting and a nurse’s aide for area residence. Most importantly she was a loving mother and homemaker.

She enjoyed tending and took great pride in her flower garden and working on her yard. Marie loved being in the kitchen cooking meals and baked goods for her family. She cherished the time she spent watching her grandchildren participate in high school activities. Being around her family meant everything to her. Most importantly she formed a relationship with God. Recently baptized at Westside Baptist Church, she looked forward to bible study with her son-in-law.

Marie is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Barry) McLaughlin of Sharpsville; 2 sons, Paul (Uganda) Carry of Sharpsville and Paden Young of Hermitage; a sister, Christyl Pearson of Greenville; a brother, John (Gayle) Aicher of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Barry, Bryanna, Marissa, Mary, and Sincere; 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Maloney and Margie Haun.
