Michael Undertajlo

Michael Undertajlo of Warren passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 5:20 a.m. in Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital. He was 57 years old.

Michael was born on July 27, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Basil and Sybil Selzer Undertajlo.

He graduated high school in New York and attended college courses. Michael worked in the restaurant business and held various positions over his professional career.

Mr. Undertajlo was a member of Howland Glen Baptist Church. He loved cooking, his favorite memory as a child was his mother’s butter cookies at Christmas time. He enjoyed watching movies, especially Charles Bronson movies and watching comedy and horror films with his daughter Amy. Music was an especially important part of Michael’s life, from playing drums and guitar, to driving around listening to classic rock. He always dreamed of meeting Paul McCartney. In his spare time Michael liked to attend flea markets.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Christine Ronyak Undertajlo; his children, Amy Ronyak of Howland, Nicholas Undertajlo of Howland, Michael Undertajlo Jr. of Florida, and Jamie Undertajlo of Georgia; 2 brothers, William (Pat) Undertajlo of St. Louis and Ivor (Kay) Undertajlo of McDonald; a sister, Irene Farsetti of Brookfield; 2 granddaughters, Marley and Mika; nieces and nephews, Billy, Lori, Jimmy, Heather, and Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
