Nancy Lee Reed

Nancy Lee Reed, 76, of Cortland passed away on July 9, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1947 in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Frye Sr and Betty Jane (Conlin) Frye. Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She married Charles B. Reed on February 2, 1974, together they raised three daughters and shared 47 years of marriage until his passing on December 19, 2022. Nancy was a collector of many things. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, cooking and attending various concerts at Ponderosa Park in Salem, Ohio. She loved her family, her dogs and country music, especially Conway Twitty. Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Denise Greathouse Snyder and Lisa (Mike) Ashcraft; grandchildren Gary Lee Snyder III, Alisha Snyder, Kaila Homewood and Desirae Homewood; eleven great grandchildren; her siblings William Frye Jr and Sharon Baughman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Charles and her daughter Tina. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
