Paul D. Bozin Sr.

May 6, 1950 — December 6, 2017

Paul D. Bozin Sr. of Niles, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:22 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was 67.

Paul was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 6, 1950, the son of the late Paul F. and Annebelle Chismark Bozin.

He was of Catholic Faith.

Mr. Bozin was a 1968 graduate of Ursuline High School. He worked for General Electric for 36 years until his retirement in 2005.

Paul was a former member of the Mineral Ridge VFW Post 4192. He was also a former baseball player and donated his time to be an assistant coach from 1989-1993 for the Mineral Ridge Softball Team. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns and Ohio State fan.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gombosh Bozin, whom he married on October 16, 1992; a daughter, Natalie Bozin of Mineral Ridge; a son, Paul (Kristen) Bozin, Jr., of Girard; 2 sisters, Patty Blanchon of Warren and Debi Bozin of Salem; 1 brother, Joseph Wodogaza of Atlanta, GA; and 2 grandchildren, Camden and Addison Bozin. Also a special thank you to a very dear friend, Dominic Armeni.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Holten.
