Penny Harris

Warren, Ohio – Penny Harris, 72, passed away peacefully at Concord of Care of Hartford Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born on April 7, 1946 in Newton Falls, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert Delorn and June Lucas Price.

Penny was a lifelong resident of Newton Falls and a graduate from Newton Falls High School. She attended Kent State University after graduation while working for Firestone Tire and Rubber at the Ravenna Arsenal.  She was baptized at the First Christian Church of Newton Falls at a young age and then attended the Methodist Church of Newton Falls.

Throughout Penny’s life she was a kind and loving person who maintained a great sense of humor and was greatly loved by her many nieces and nephews and she enjoyed those visits very much.

Surviving family members are; sister Joyce Price (Bruce) Aitkens; five nephews and two nieces; 15 great nephews and nieces.

To all family and friends, we would like to thank you for loving Penny and a special thank you to her care givers at Concord Care of Hartford.

A private interment will be held at a later date where Penny will be laid to rest with her parents.
