Phyllis Marie Sartell Potjunas

Phyllis Marie Sartell Potjunas, 82, of Warren, died 7:55 AM Sunday, December 12, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Health. She was born Saturday, August 19, 1922, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of the late Joseph and Lavina "Dottie" Myott Sartell, and had lived in the area for nearly 50 years.

Mrs. Potjunas was a graduate of the Minneapolis Business College. She had been active earlier with the Warren G. Harding Band Parents and Boy Scouts. She enjoyed reading and baking.

Surviving Mrs. Potjunas are three sons: James Potjunas and his wife, Sandra Stack-Potjunas, of Vienna, Jay Potjunas of Warren, and Thomas Potjunas of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a grandson, Thomas C. Stack of Vienna.

Preceding Mrs. Potjunas in death are her parents; her husband, William Potjunas, whom she married in October, 1956 and who died in October, 1961; one brother; and three sisters.

Services for Mrs. Potjunas will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Scott Purdum of Howland United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Niles Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday.
