Robert Michael Dickey

Robert Michael Dickey of Cortland passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 in the emergency room of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 38.

Robert was born in Youngstown on August 24, 1981, the son of Robert C. and Nancy Gossick Dickey.

He was a 1999 graduate of Matthews High School. Following high school, Rob was employed for Bazetta Tree Inc. and Alpha Security.

Rob enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was sitting by the campfire or fishing at his favorite spot. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife, shooting a good game of pool, attending music festivals, and especially listening to his music loud. He was a true hippie at heart.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Lynne McConahy Dickey whom he married on September 25, 2015, but shared 14 years together; 2 daughters, Kallie Dickey and Mineko Roach; a brother, Jason (Jessica) Dickey of Vienna; his father, Robert C. Dickey of Springfield, TN; a grandmother, Marion Dickey; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother; his former fiancé Missy Witherow; his grandfather, Carl Dickey; and his grandfather, Edward Gossick.
