Robert Joseph Grexa

Robert Joseph Grexa of Hartford, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by family. He was 38.
Bob was born on August 3, 1979 in Greenville, PA, the son of John T. and Susan Conway Grexa.
Mr. Grexa was a 1997 graduate of Joseph Badger High School. Following high school, Bob matriculated to St. Petersburg College where he studied public safety and was a graduate of their police academy.
He was a former Lieutenant for the Hartford Township Police Department and Eastern District Probation Officer for the Trumbull County Sherriff’s Department. Bob was also a business partner in American Uniforms & Arms LLC in Warren, OH and RRT Catering Company.
Mr. Grexa was a member of the Son’s of Italy Shenango Valley and the Fraternal Order of Police. He always looked forward to going to the mountains and hunting camp, he enjoyed cooking, and most of all he cherished the times spent with his friends, family and his beloved Black Lab Pau.
He is survived by his parents, John and Susan Grexa of Hartford; 2 brothers, Ryan Fish of Akron and Tim (Kim) Grexa of Hartford; 5 nieces and nephews, Amanda, John, Andy, Katie, and Carl; maternal grandparents, Robert and Doris Conway; in addition he is also survived by a brother from another mother, Ben Anspach.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marie Grexa.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in memory of Bob to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County at 545 Brunstetter Rd. SW, Warren Ohio 44481.

A private graveside service will be held in America’s Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
The family of Robert requests that friends and family join them at Quaker Steak & Lube 101 Chestnut St. Sharon, PA 16146 on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. for a celebration of life.
