Roberta J. Clingan of Champion passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 10:18 a.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was 53 years old.
Roberta was born in Cleveland on July 19, 1968, the daughter of the late Robert and Linda Olsen Clingan.
She was a graduate of Grand Valley High School. Ms. Clingan through out her life called New York her home and where she was employed as a legal secretary for many years.
Roberta was of Christian Faith. She looked forward to the Kentucky Derby each year, she may not have been there physically, but she wore her hat, watched with excitement and was there in spirit. Mrs. Clingan was an avid Cleveland Brown’s fan and was a loving and nurturing person. Not having children of her own, she devoted her time to being an aunt who was special to every one of her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by a sister, Candace (Hector) Lopez of San Diego, CA; 2 brothers, Brett (Margie) Clingan of Warren and Robert (Tamara) Clingan of Estero, FL; 9 nieces and nephews, Morgan, Iris, Lincoln, Noah, Cecilia, Eli, Carter, Zoe, and Cole.
In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by a brother, Bart White.
