Rose A. Hirsch

Braceville

Rose A. Hirsch of Braceville passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 9:35 p.m. She was 92.

Rose was born on June 2, 1927 in Warren, the daughter of the late Gregorio and Pasqua Laganella Mascio who came to America from Foggia, Italy.

She was of Roman Catholic Faith and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren.

Mrs. Hirsch was a graduate of Warren G. Harding. Rose loved working her entire life until finally retiring at the age of 89. She started her career working for Union Savings and Trust and then worked for Bank One as a Regional Manager for many years. Following this time, she was an office administrator for 20 years for Attorney Dan Letson. Throughout the years, she also managed the finances for all of the many family businesses.

On July 9, 1955, Rose married the love of her life, David L. Hirsch and together they raised their loving family. David passed on April 16, 2011 and they are now together again.

Rose was an active member of her community and took pride in Warren and her home. She was an animal lover, especially her grand-puppy Enzo, and advocate of the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.  She loved cooking for her family and friends showing her love through her food. She was especially close to her grandson Joe Hirsch who cared for her with all his heart. Most importantly she loved her family, cherishing the memories she made with them.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Deena Johnson and Dava Hirsch, both of Naples, FL; her grandson Joseph and his wife Sarah Hirsch of Gates Mills, OH and their dog Enzo; and her granddaughter Michelle Johnson of Warren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was proceeded in death by her sister, Helen, Jean, and Marie, and her brothers, Dominic and Edward.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in the memory of Rose to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County as this was a cause close to Rose’s heart.

Inurnment will be at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
