Rosemary Windiuk

Rosemary Windiuk of Niles passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. in her residence. She was 90.

Rosemary was born in Warren on January 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Sam and Amilia “Mary” Clemente Ragazzo.

She was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Mrs. Windiuk was employed on the line at General Electric until marriage.

Mrs. Windiuk was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Rosemary and her husband enjoyed dancing, especially at polka festivals. She also found enjoyment in crocheting and was a wonderful cook.

Her husband, Nicholas Windiuk, whom she married November 12, 1955, passed away on November 20, 2011.

She is survived by a daughter, Renee (Bill) Gedeon of Niles; a brother Rocky (Clara) Ragazzo of Akron.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Ragazzo.

A funeral service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the funeral home.

Internment will take place in Niles City Cemetery.
