Sandra Lee Plant

Sandra Lee Plant of Niles, passed away on November 3, 2017 at 5:16 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital with her family by her side. She was 76.
Ms. Plant was born in Youngstown on July 7, 1941, the daughter of the late Clement R. and Alma L. Campbell Plant.
She attended Liberty School Systems. Sandra was a loving homemaker and mother. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching the various shows on the HGTV channel. Most of all, she loved attending different sporting events that her grandchildren where involved in and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa (Brian) Summers of Youngstown, Sherry (Gary) Coleman of Niles, and Brenda Plant of Youngstown; a son Michael Plant of Youngstown; a sister, Dorothy Tomlin of New Castle, PA; 5 brothers Russell Plant of Florida, Roger Plant of Greenville, NC, Richard Plant of Austintown, William “Chet” Plant of Poland, and Mark Plant of Austintown; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Kachmer; 2 great grandchildren, Isaac and Jeremy.
