Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Weber-Simones

Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Weber-Simones of Lordstown passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 10:13 a.m. in her residence. She was 64.

Sandy was born on April 4, 1957, in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late William and Mary Martz Weber.

She was a graduate of Columbiana High School.

Sandy was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Warren. She enjoyed working on crafts and crocheting. She loved spending summers at Paradise Lakes Family Campground in Bristolville, where she was known as “The Flamingo Lady”. Most importantly, she loved her family and especially her grandchildren and cherished their time together.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Simones, who she married on September 11, 2008; 8 children, Tim (Lorie) McAvene, Chad (Marianna) Homjak, Renee Homjak, Becky (Pat) Bills, Phillip (Caryn) Simones, Ryan Simones, Carrie (Ray) Braun, and Heidi (Sam) Zepeda; 22 grandchildren, Christopher, T.J., and Malorie McAvene, Seth, Emilie, and Ellie Homjak, Ariel, Lily, Miranda, and Myah Bills, Riley, Sophia, Joseph, Blake, and Colton Simones, Reilly, Lyra, and Lorelai Braun, Conner Campbell, Chloe Zeigler, Elijah and Isabelle Zepeda; a great grandchild, Rosie; a sister, Lori (Ray) Davis; and a brother Craig (Laurie) Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling Hours will be on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in New Covenant Baptist Church at 1606 Salt Springs Rd., Warren, OH 44481.

A service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel located at 6086 OH-7, East Palestine, OH 44413.
