Sharon Ann Griffith of Warren passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 7:20 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital. She was 74.
Sharon was born in Pennsylvania on July 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dorothy Coon.
She was a high school graduate. Over the years, Sharon was a hard working individual that provided for her loving family. She was a State Tested Nursing Assistant for nursing homes and home health care organizations throughout the area. Earlier in life, she managed the Short Stop Truck Stop in Leavittsburg.
Mrs. Griffith was a woman of many talents. She could accomplish anything she put her mind to and did it with perfection. Sharon sewed various articles of clothing for family weddings and enjoyed knitting. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and most importantly cherished the times spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by a daughter, Rosalyn “Rosie” (Bob) Stack of Burton, OH; 3 sons, Randy (Sheryl) Griffith of Warren, Ricky Griffith of Jamestown, NY, and Roy Griffith Jr. of Warren; a sister and a brother; 35 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her long-time companion of 37 years Sam “Charles” Caldwell; 2 grandchildren; a brother and 3 sisters; a niece.
