Sharon "Sherry" Kerner

Sharon “Sherry” Kerner of McDonald passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 10:45 p.m. in Mercy Health - St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was 65 years old.

Sherry was born on August 25, 1955 in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of the late James and Helen Smith Peace.

She married Donald P. Kerner on August 20, 1977 and they spent many wonderful years together enjoying life and raising their son.

She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed taking care of others. Sherry enjoyed spending her time outdoors basking in the sun. She loved camping and with her family and spent much of her summer at their camper in Ashtabula. She also loved taking her chances at the casino.

In addition to her loving husband Donald, Mrs. Kerner is survived by her son, Joshua J. Kerner of Conneaut; 3 grandchildren, Curtis J. Kerner, Dillon P. Kerner, and Melissa Short; and a great grandchild, Payton Kerner.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.

A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Kerr Cemetery.
