Stephen "Peewee" L. Custer

Stephen L. “Peewee” Custer, 64, of Warren Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 18, 2019 at home.  The son of Russell and Dorothy Custer, was born on August 10, 1954 in Sharon, PA.

Stephen married Dianna Simpson, of Warren and together they raised their family in the Warren area. He enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball team, the times when the family got together for special occasions and spending long hours taking care of his yard.

Memories of Stephen will be carried on by his wife Dianna Custer; son; Justin Giar of Warren;  grandchild; Athena Giar; six sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm at McFarland-Barbee Family Funeral Home. The committal service will follow at a later time.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to help defray Peewee ’s funeral expenses.
