Susan Ann Walton

Susan Ann Walton of Sebring, passed away with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 4:20 a.m. in her residence. She was 73.

Susan was born in Dover, OH on April 13, 1944, the daughter of the late Garrison Glen and Martha Ann Abrecht Groh.

Ms. Walton was a graduate of Dover High School. Following high school, Susan matriculated to Kent State University.

She retired after 25 years of employment with Alltel, where she performed various jobs for the company.

Susan loved the fine arts, from acting in community theater to playing the piano and singing. She loved animals, especially cats and llamas. Susan raised llamas on her farm and was a member of the Ohio River Valley Llama Association. She had a great sense of humor that would light up a room and you would instantly become her friend if you had the opportunity to meet her. Susan was a loving mother, throughout her daughter’s life, Susan would take an interest in all of her daughter’s activities and hobbies.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Tad Schoffner) Walton of Cleveland Heights, OH; 2 brothers, Daniel (Janie) Groh of Medina and Glen (Ann) Groh of Dover; a granddaughter, Caitlin.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
