Timothy A. Whitacre

Timothy A. Whitacre of Warren passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 9:31 a.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. He was 52 years old.

Timothy was born on August 6, 1968, in Warren, the son of the late Alfred and Kathleen Collier Whitacre.

He was a 1986 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Timothy worked at Brother’s Pizza in Warren and also owned 2 racehorses.

Timothy was a member of Braceville Christian Church. He was a member of numerous dart leagues throughout the area where he was known as T-Money. He enjoyed fishing and playing softball with his cousins. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees. However, his greatest love was his family and his animals. He loved his dogs, Smokey and Hoss, as well as his horses. He always took time for his brother Michael who lives in assisted living. Family gatherings where he could cook, or BBQ, while being surrounded by his loved ones were his most treasured moments. He loved spending time with his son and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Roupe Whitacre, whom he married February 17, 1996; 2 sons, Tyler (Courtney) Whitacre of Niles and Preston Whitacre of Leavittsburg; a sister, Lisa (Kevin) Meixelberger of Warren; a brother, Mike Whitacre of Geneva; 4 grandchildren, Landon, Gracie, Adalyn, and Ava Whitacre; and his niece, Brandi.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
