Alex Jay Oehmichen

Alex Jay Oehmichen of Warren passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 in the intensive care unit of Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 24 years old.

Alex was born on March 5, 1996 in Warren, the son of Kenneth and Theresa Coonce Oehmichen.

He was a 2015 graduate of Sharpsville High School. Alex worked alongside his father at the family landscaping business.

He loved listening to all kinds of music. In his spare time, he loved to “tinker” with anything he could take apart and figure out how to put back together or fix, especially cars and electronics. He was very kindhearted and giving of himself. Alex would brighten a room with his smile. Most importantly he cherished his children and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth (Amanda) Oehmichen of Warren; his mother Theresa Coonce of Sharon; a son Aiden of Warren; a daughter, Nina of Warren; a sister Sabrina of Sharpsville; a brother Jared of Warren; his grandparents, Debbie Coonce, Dave Alberson, Denise Simpson, Tom (Lori) Moss, and Christine Brickner; his fiancé, Amber McCormick and her children of Warren; the mother of Alex’s children, Nicolette Nacarato of Warren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Dodge; his grandfather, Kenneth Oehmichen.
