Beverly J. Wesley

Beverly J. Wesley of Youngstown passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 2:57 p.m. at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. She was 79 years old.

Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on February 18, 1941 the daughter of the late Roger Logan and Ossie Mae Walker.

She was of Catholic faith.

Mrs. Wesley was a loving homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She loved to cook and crochet. She collected baby dolls and in her spare time loved to go shopping with her family members spending hours at thrift stores and Gabe’s. Most important to her was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren immensely, spending time making memories. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Beverly is survived by her 4 daughters, Aletra Graves, Antonia Gibson and her husband Stephen Sr., Gina McClendon, and Angelique Thomas; her son, Jonathan James McClendon; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and B. Jarmin her “Road Dog”.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by 2 husbands, James Robert McClendon and Lewis Wesley, the father who raised her, Moses Ham, nephew, Jesse Jarman, a great-grandson, and 2 great-granddaughters.
