Chester Lee Ashbrook

Chester Lee Ashbrook of Niles passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 8:02 p.m. in his residence. He was 59.

Chester was born on July 8, 1960 in Rockwood, TN, the son of the late William Robert and Margie Hodge Ashbrook.

He attended Rockwood High School and was of Baptist Faith.

Mr. Ashbrook worked in farming and gardening up until an accident at the age of 20.

Chester loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had an amazing green thumb and could grow any vegetable. He enjoyed working in his garden and doing yard work. He loved his dog, Red Bone, who was his faithful companion and his best friend.

He is survived by a son; 4 sisters, Brenda Johnson of Niles, Rose (Roger) Sigley of McDonald, Geraldine Green of Rockwood, TN, and Debbie (Jerry) Walker of Rockwood, TN; a brother, Charles (Sylvia) Ashbrook of Sparta, TN; and his close friends Jack and Shannon Tomlin.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his sister Charlene Hilderith and an infant brother Clyde Eugene Ashbrook.
