Daniel "Danny" R. Warner

Daniel R. “Danny” Warner of Niles passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 8:13 p.m. in his residence. He was 60 years old.

Danny as he was affectionately known by his loving family and friends was born on January 5, 1960 in Warren, the son of the late Roy and Louise Wright Warner.

Mr. Warner was a 1978 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Danny furthered his education at Youngstown State University majoring in Criminal Justice.

Throughout his life he was employed in the waterproofing, cement, and brick laying industry.

Danny was of non-denominational faith and had a deep belief in God. He was an avid sports fan, especially Notre Dame football, Cleveland Browns, and Indians. Mr. Warner loved staying connected to his friends and family over social media. Danny enjoyed cracking jokes and making sure all those around him had a smile on their face. He was loved by all that knew him. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, especially barbeque.

He is survived by his wife Cheri Van Dyke Warner whom he married September 5, 2003; 3 sisters, Carol Rose, JoAnn Markwell, and Mary (Israel Szabo) Warner; Danny is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that loved and cherished him. He is also survived by his mother in law Shirley Carr.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a brother, Roger “Rocky” Warner; a sister, Sandra Kay Warner; an infant daughter, Danielle Warner; a stepson Jorry Palm;

Calling hours will be on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. At the families request masks will be required.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in the funeral home.

Internment will take place in Niles City Cemetery
