Obituary

Diane Lynn (Fanto) Spagnoletta of Brookfield passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 8:46 a.m. in her residence. She was 66 years old.

Diane was born on February 24, 1954 in Warren, the daughter of the late Leslie E. and Jeanette Waltko Fanto.

She attended Champion High School and was of Christian faith. Diane was a self-employed house cleaner. She also worked side by side with her loving husband at his construction business for many years.

Diane was a talented artist and painter, creating many beautiful and unique pieces. She was also an amazing gardener and loved spending time adding new flowers to her many flower beds. Her green thumb expanded to her vegetable garden where she would grow zucchini to bake bread in her apple decorated kitchen to share with the neighborhood. She had a soft spot for animals, especially horses. She loved kids and all of the neighborhood children would spend time at her house. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and cherished her family and friends who will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Spagnoletta whom she married in 2003; her children, Windy Dawn Boles, of Nashville TN, William Lawrence Gump Jr., of Punxsutawney, PA, and Kimberly Dawn Paruso of Brockway, PA; her sister, Patricia Hubbard of Kileen, TX; 2 brothers, Mike Fanto Sr. of Niles and Ron Heckrow of South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Audrey Jean Sydnor, Sierra Marie Craig, Bradley Douglas Gump, Maria Lynn Duffy, and Grayson John Uhl; a great grandson, Jaxson Dule Alan Crocker; and Conner Wilkinson, whom she cared for greatly.

In addition to her parents, Diane was proceeded in death by her first two husbands, William L. Gump Sr. and Richard Leeworthy; and her siblings, Betty Devlin, Bobby Heckrow, Harry Heckrow, Kay Phillips, Jeanette Heckrow, Matt Heckrow, Eddie Fanto, and Denise Fanto.
