Douglas E. Pearson

Douglas E. Pearson of Youngstown passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 5:10 a.m. in his residence. He was 64 years old.

Doug was born in Youngstown on July 22, 1956, the son of the late Russell Lee and Janet Carrozzino Pearson.

He was a graduate of Liberty High School. Following high school, Doug furthered his education by attending college and art school.

Doug was an incredibly talented and accomplished guitarist and songwriter.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Abernathy; a daughter, Bridget Nance; grandsons Lincoln and Jackson; a son, Tyler (Donna) Pearson; and a sister, Nancy (Dan) O’Brien.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
