Eddie Robert Harned

Eddie Robert Harned of Cortland passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 5:22 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was 65.

Eddie was born in Warren on February 1, 1953, the son of the late William E. and Marie E. Hall Harned.

He was a graduate of Lakeview High School. Following high school, Eddie proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War working as an aeronautics mechanic.

Mr. Harned was a skilled bowler and bowled on various teams throughout the area. He also enjoyed shooting a good game of pool.

Eddie is survived by a daughter, Melissa Harned and her husband Shane Jones of Warren; a son, William R. Harned of Cortland; a sister, Jenny Chappell; 2 brothers, Roger and Kenneth Harned.
