Gladys M. Turnbull

Gladys M. Turnbull of Niles passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 8:50 a.m. in her residence with her loving husband by her side. She was 58 years old.

Gladys was born Newport News, VA on November 27, 1962, the daughter of the late Edward B. Hughes and Helen M. Ronyak Hughes.

Mrs. Turnbull retired from the fast-food industry where she was a cashier at many locations in Virginia and Maryland.

She was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Gladys loved the Lord. She was an excellent cook and found relaxation in knitting. The things that she cherished the most are the memories she made with her grandchildren, husband, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her daughter, Tanya Gross.

She is survived by her husband, David Turnbull whom she married June 27, 1993; a son, Joseph B. and his wife Joy Hughes; a son-in-law, Joseph Gross; 8 grandchildren, Joseph, Julie, Josi, Jacob, Jasper, Lane, Shannon, and Tobyn.
